Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling and Cancelations: In the case that I, the teacher, would have to cancel a previously scheduled lesson, I will provide a make-up credit or a full refund. For all lesson options, if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, regardless of the reason (illness, weather, traffic, work conflicts), you will be charged in full for the lesson. For severe weather conflicts, I offer online lessons through Zoom. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson with more than 24 hours' notice, please see the below makeup-credit options for the drop-in and package rates. Trial/Drop-in - If you reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice, I offer one makeup lesson. If you wish to reschedule a third time, I charge an admin fee of $10. If you simply wish to cancel, no charge will occur the first time, beyond that I charge my half rate. 2-lesson package - If you reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice, I offer one makeup lesson. If you wish to reschedule the second lesson or the previously rescheduled lesson, I charge an admin fee of $10. 4-lesson package - If you reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice, I offer two makeup lessons. If you wish to reschedule the third lesson or a previously rescheduled lesson, I charge an admin fee of $10. All make-up lessons will expire within 3 months of our previously scheduled meeting. (e.g. - you cancel and reschedule a lesson previously scheduled on July 1, you have between then and October 1 to reschedule that lesson.) For drop-in and trial lessons, as well as additional fees accrued from rescheduling or cancelation, I ask for payment within five days of our previously scheduled lesson (attended or not). I charge a $15 late fee for any payments received after five days. If you simply wish to cancel a lesson in the 2 or 4-lesson package and do not wish to use the provided makeup lesson credit(s), I collect my full rate previously paid when we scheduled those lessons.
