Olivia “Liv” Roumel is an evocative and soulful singer, songwriter, guitarist and keys player. Hailing from Ann Arbor Michigan, but based in Denver since 2016, her groove-based music blends soulful, layered vocals with jazz-inspired textures and nature-infused imagery. Her songs are both intimate and expansive, rooted in raw storytelling and transformative musical expression.

Liv released her debut EP in April 2025, “I Take a Picture (With My Whole Being)”, A dreamy, soul-rich collection exploring self-undoing, transformation, and celebration of feeling all colors of life. 

 

She has been playing Colorado’s front range since 2016 - getting her start busking on Boulder’s Pearl St and growing into a presence at venues across the region. Weaving her passion for camping and connecting to nature has served as a lifeline for her artistry.

In addition to her work as a performing and recording artist, Olivia has been teaching private voice and guitar lessons since 2018. Her teaching style mirrors her artistry: focused on unlocking each student’s authentic voice and cultivating music as a means of emotional connection and creative empowerment.​​
